The Huntington Ancient Order of Hibernians (AOH) is gearing up for its tenth annual golf outing, set to take place on Wednesday, October 2, at the scenic Crab Meadow Golf Course. This highly anticipated event brings together members, supporters, and the community for a day of friendly competition and celebration, all for a great cause. Proceeds from the outing will be used to fund the Division's ongoing community support efforts, which include charitable donations, educational programs, and cultural initiatives that uplift Huntington and its residents.

This year, the AOH is proud to honor Huntington Town Supervisor Ed Smyth as the event's distinguished honoree. Supervisor Smyth’s leadership and dedication to the town make him an exemplary choice for this recognition, as his efforts align with the AOH’s mission to strengthen and support the local community. The golf outing promises to be not only a fun-filled day but also a meaningful opportunity to contribute to the AOH’s continued outreach and service throughout Huntington. 2024 Honoree: Supervisor Edmund J. Smyth

The Ancient Order of Hibernians is pleased to announce Huntington Town Supervisor Ed Smyth as the honoree for the 2024 Annual Golf Outing. Supervisor Smyth has been a steadfast leader in the Huntington community, demonstrating a strong commitment to public service and Irish-American heritage. His selection as this year’s honoree highlights his dedication to improving the lives of Huntington residents and his support of charitable causes, which align with the mission of the Ancient Order of Hibernians.

Ed Smyth has served as Huntington’s Town Supervisor since 2022, following a successful tenure as a councilman on the Huntington Town Board. In addition to his leadership in local government, Smyth is a practicing attorney and a former U.S. Marine. His deep ties to the community and his passion for serving others make him a deserving recipient of this honor. The 2024 Annual Golf Outing will celebrate his achievements and provide an opportunity to support the important work of the Hibernians in the community.
